In accord with its charter, the ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius pursues exclusively charitable purposes as understood pursuant to the Fiscal Code chapter on "tax-privileged purposes". The foundation promotes science and research, art and culture, and education and training in the areas set out in the charter. As a rule, we cannot support purposes falling outside of those stipulated in the charter (such as social activities or sports). Applicants must be able to demonstrate a charitable purpose. Private individuals can be funded only through scholarship programs. We do not engage in sponsoring or make donations in kind.
